Trump will meet with Jeffrey Goldberg of Atlantic for the interview despite the signaling debacle, criticism

For years, President Donald Trump has criticized politically harmful reports of the chief editor of the Atlantic Jeffrey Goldberg as false, invented.

His most recent criticism has been the story of the Goldberg bomb on a signal chat to which he was accidentally invited, one that included the best members of the Trump National Security team, talking about an imminent military attack against Huti terrorists in Yemen.

“The story they are writing, they have told my representatives, will be entitled,” the most consistent president of this century, “he said.

Trump criticized the coverage of the Atlantic of his campaign and the first term, but things were heated in 2020 after Goldberg wrote An article That described a 2018 incident in which, according to the reports, the president refused to visit an American cemetery in France, where members of the World War I service were buried.

“He is, as they know, a deafness bag, but at the highest level. His magazine is failing,” Trump said about Goldberg on March 26 during an appearance in the “Vince Show” podcast.

Goldberg has repeatedly defended his reports on the scandal.

“They have decided to blame the guy who invited the conversation. It is a bit strange behavior,” he told ABC News in March. “Honestly, I don’t know why they are acting like this, except to think they are, they know how serious a national security violation is. And so they have to divert it and push it to the guy, again, they invited the chat, namely me.”
