It is estimated that 50 people were injured, including an 11 -year -old boy, when Russia attacked the city of Jharkiv with drones on Friday night, authorities said.

Calling him a “mass attack,” wrote Kharkiv Oleg Synegumin on Telegram that drones reached four parts of the city while causing harmful fires and houses, buildings and cars.

The mayor of Kharkiv said that 12 different locations in those four districts were beaten and that eight people are still in the hospital in moderate conditions.

Although there could be more attacks, emergency workers are on the ground turning off fires and cleaning damage while medical staff worked hard to help injured.

Only a few hours before, Russia had launched another attack, this time in Zaporizhzhia, hurting 29 people.

These attacks occurred just before Russia planned the three -day fire for their vacation in World War II, since Ukraine says that this “high fire” is only for the show and not real, with the Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy saying that the drones arrived in houses, not to military places.

“Russia attacks when people are in their homes, lying on their children,” he said.

Earlier this week, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov warned Wednesday that “a complete series of nuances” must be addressed before Russia agrees with any peace agreement negotiated in the United States to end the invasion of 3 years of Moscow of Moscow.

President Vladimir Putin, Peskov, said: “He said that he supports this initiative: the establishment of a high fire, supports it, but before doing so, a complete series of questions must be answered and a complete series of nuances must be resolved,” as cited by the state news agency.

Zelenskyy again urged greater international pressure on the Kremlin this week, citing the last round of drones strikes a few days ago when 45 people were injured in Kharkiv, including two children, and one person died in Dnipro.

“Russian drones continue to fly over the Ukrainian skies all morning,” Zelenskyy wrote on Telegram. “And this happens every day. That is why pressure is needed on Russia (strong and additional sanctions that really work. Not only the words or attempts of persuasion, only the pressure can force Russia to accept a high fire and put an end to war.”
