Judge Hannah Dugan arrested by the FBI for allegedly helping undocumented immigrants to 'evade the arrest'

A Milwaukee County Circuit Judge was arrested by the FBI for allegedly helping an undocumented immigrant “evading the arrest,” said FBI director Kash Patel, in a social media post, which was later eliminated.

Judge Hannah Dugan was arrested for obstruction charges, according to Patel.

“The FBI arrested Judge Hannah Dugan de Milwaukee, Wisconsin, for obstruction charges, after Judge Dugan’s evidence obstructed an immigration arrest operation last week,” he published. “We believe that Judge Dugan intentionally directed federal agents outside the subject to be arrested in his court, Eduardo Flores Ruiz, allowing the subject, an illegal foreigner, evading the arrest.”

Dugan was arrested early Friday at court, confirmed an official of the law to ABC News.

Flores Ruiz was still arrested a short time later.

“Fortunately, our agents chased the author on foot and he has been in custody since then, but the judge’s obstruction created a greater danger to the public,” Patel said.
