Read the live transcription of Trump’s speech below.

“Recently, the United States Army carried out massive precision attacks on the three key nuclear facilities in the Iranian regime: Fordo, Natanz and Isfahan. Everyone listened to those names for years as they built this horribly destructive company. Our goal was the destruction of Iran’s nuclear enrichment capacity, and a stop to the nuclear threat raised by the world horror sponsor of the world.

“Tonight, I can inform the world that strikes were a spectacular military success. The key nuclear enrichment facilities of Iran have been completely erased.

“Iran, the Middle East, now must make peace. If they don’t, future attacks will be much older and much easier.

“For years, Iran has been saying death to the United States, death to Israel. They have been killing our people, exploiting their arms, blowing their legs with road bombs. That was their specialty. We lost more than one thousand people and hundreds of thousands throughout the Middle East and worldwide have died as a direct result of their hatred.

“In particular, many were killed by their general, Qasem Soleimani. I decided a long time since I would not let this happen. He will not continue. I want to thank and congratulate Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu. We work as a team. As perhaps no team has worked before. And we have traveled a long way to erase this horrible threat of Israel.

“I want to thank the Israeli army for the wonderful work they have done. And most importantly, I want to congratulate the great US patriots who flew those magnificent machines tonight and all the military of the United States for an operation like the world has not seen in many, many decades.

“Hopefully, we will no longer need your services in this capacity. I hope it is so. I also want to congratulate the president of the Joint personnel, the general Dan” Raizin “, Cain, spectacular general, and all the brilliant military minds involved in this attack.

“Said all that, this cannot continue. There will be peace or there will be a tragedy to Iran, much larger than we have witnessed in the last eight days. Remember, many goals are left. The tonight was the most difficult of all of all of all, and perhaps the most lethal. But if it does not come quickly, we will pursue those other objectives with precision with the speed and skill. Most of them can be taken in a matter of minutes.

“There are no military in the world who could have done what we did tonight. Not even close. There has never been an army that can do what happened a little.

“Tomorrow, General Caine, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegesh, will have a press conference at 8 in the morning in the Pentagon. And I just want to thank everyone, and in particular, God.

“I just want to say, we love you, God, and love our great army. Protect them. God bless the Middle East. God bless Israel and God bless America. Thank you very much. Thank you.”
