One of the last two escaped from a Jailbreak in New Orleans last month has recaptured after six weeks in the race, authorities said on Friday.
Antoine Massey, 33, is in custody, confirmed the US Sheriff Service. UU. It was located and arrested in a residence in New Orleans on Friday night, according to the Police of the State of Louisiana.

Earlier this month, the Louisiana authorities were investigating a video that circulated online that seemed to show Massey supplicating the rappers and President Donald Trump to help him while he was still fleeing.

MASSEY will be transported to a “safe state correctional installation outside the area,” Louisiana State Police said in a press release.
At the time of the escape, Massey was imprisoned by the domestic abuse battery that involved strangulation, the theft of a motor vehicle and a rape of probation, said the state police, and added: “Additional charges can be presented.”
Massey was among the 10 inmates who escaped from the Orleans Justice Center last month, according to the Louisian State Police.
Derrick Groves, the last remaining escape, is still in general.
“We still have one more,” Kirkpatrick said during the informative session.
Going to Groves, he said: “We are going to capture it. You will be arrested. But you still have the option of becoming peacefully, and we will call you to do it.”
“All these catches have been able to be peacefully and that is also the end of the game. We do not want anyone to hurt,” he continued.
The authorities had increased the reward for the information that led to the arrest of Massey and Groves to $ 50,000 per inmate last month, as the police said at that time that they believed they were approaching the fugitives “dangerous.”

Groves was sentenced last year for two second -degree murder positions in a shooting of the Mardi Gras 2018 day and faces a life imprisonment without the possibility of probation, prosecutors said. Not related to that case, he also declared guilty of two charges of involuntary homicide, according to the online judicial records.
His girlfriend, Darriana Burton, was arrested this month for allegedly helping Groves escape, authorities said. He allegedly had an “active participation in the escape planning phase”, according to the affidavit of his arrest warrant, including the transmission of “information related to the escape” and the communications coordination between forests and people out of jail.
The 10 inmates escaped from the Orleans Justice Center in the early hours of May 16 after climbing through a hole behind a bathroom. His disappearance was not noticed for several hours and went out of a massive humanity.

Burton is one of the more than a dozen people who have been arrested on suspicion of helping the escapes, including another inmate in jail and a prison maintenance worker who is accused of closing the water to the toilet, which allows the escapes to eliminate it.
Three of the 10 inmates who escaped were arrested in New Orleans within the first 24 hours of Jailbreak. The others were captured in the following days, even in Baton Rouge and Texas.
Hutson said Friday that the Sheriff’s office continues “hardening and modernizing” the jail following the escape.
“We are installing a new razor cable, press physical barriers, update blocking mechanisms,” he said. “All these play an important role in the security of our residents, staff and the whole community.”
